Premier Equine Has Busy Summer

Summer 2010- The summer of 2010 was a great one for Premier Equien Center. The facility had a bery busy summer, not only rehabbing soft-tissue injuries, but conditioning some of the areas top equine athletes. We also had interesting cases like cellulitis in an an P.R.E. mare, an infected joint capsule in the hock of a rope horse and applying meds to post surgical horses. Thank you to our customers for keeping us busy this summer!

Equine Aquatred Featured On Morning Television

February 2010- Once again, Allan Sanchez and the crew from Sacramento's Good Day Sacramento came out to see our new equine aquatred. Dr. Luke Bass from Pioneer Equine Hospital was on hand to answer questions during the interview and talk about "Beaver", a performance horse that we were swimming at our facility. "Beaver" recently had about 1/3 of his splint bone removed after an accident in December and our aquatred was an ideal way to bring him back for competition. Premier Equine Center Has Relocated! February 1, 2010- Premier Equine Center has located their entire rehabilitation facility to Oakdale. Now located at 11501 Pioneer Ave (the former home of Pioneer Equine Hospital), the facility is much more easily accessible to their clients! Located only 1.5 miles from the new Pioneer Equine Hospital, the facility still has all of their great equipment, plus the addition of a HydroHorse Underwater Tredmill (aquatred)!

Premier Equine Featured On Wide World of Horses!

January 2010- Premier Equine Center and their mobile equine Cold Salt Hydrotherapy Spa was featured on Wide World Of Horses with Les Vogt. The episode, dedicated to equine health, took an in depth look at what took place behind the scenes at the 2009 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity to keep the horses healthy and sound. The spa was featured on the episode as well as Dr. Joe Carter and the Equine Sports Medicine Mobile Veterinary Unit.

Mobile Spa Huge Success!

October/November 2009- Premier Equine Center's Mobile Spa has proven to be a huge success at two large horse shows. The spa was in place to treat horses at both the NRCHA World Championship Snaffle Bit Show in Reno, Nevada and the PCCHA Cutting Horse Futurity in Paso Robles, California. At the Snaffle Bit, top trainers such as Todd Crawford, Bob Avila, Boyd Rice and the champion, Zane Davis, used the spa to help maintain their horses through out the show. 13 of the 25 Open Futurity Finalist used the spa for their horse at point or another during the competition. At the PCCHA Cutting Futurity, top trainers such as Matt Gaines, Morgan Cromer, Grant Setnicka and the eventual champion, Phil Rapp, used the spa on at least one of their horses. Look for the spa to hopefully be in place at the H.I.T.S. Jumping Circuit in January/February, located at Thermal, California.

Mobile Spa To Debut At Snaffle Bit Futurity September 2009-Premier Equine Center is getting ready to launch the country's first mobile Cold Salt Hydrotherapy Spa. There are a few mobile spa's in existence in Europe and they have proven to be very beneficial to horses before and after competition. The spa will debut at the World Championship Snaffle Bit Futurity held September 20-October 4 in Reno, Nevada. The attending vet at the show, Dr. Joe Carter DVM of Equine Sports Medicine in Oklahoma, is also the proud owner of an ECB Spa. "I am very excited that the spa will be at the Snaffle Bit Futurity. I know the benefits of the ECB spa since I own one myself. It will be beneficial to all of the horses that are being shown and I will be referring horses the the spa." Look for Premier Equine Center's mobile spa to be at other top shows on the West Coast including: PCCHA cutting horse show in October (Paso Robles), the Sacramento International Horse Show in November (Rancho Murieta) and H.I.T.S. Thermal in January-February (Thermal).

California Country TV Features Premier Equine Center September 2009- California Country TV, a tv show produced by the California Farm Bureau that features different agricultural topics, recently aired a segment on Premier Equine Center. The episode was seen through out the state of California and on the television network RFD-TV. The segment featured the facility and the unique healing equipment that we provide to our clients. Dr. Dave MacDonald DVM, a equine surgeon from Pioneer Equine Hospital, was on hand to help answer any questions and to talk about the benefits that we provide to our clients. Premier Equine Health Symposium

May 2009- The "Premier Equine Health Symposium", held on May 9th, was a big hit! The symposium included veterinary lectures/demonstrations, a bbq, drawings/raffles and had many top equine companies and pharmaceutical reps on hand. The day was headlined by top vets such as Dr. Brad Jackman, owner of Pioneer Equine Hospital, Dr. Wade Tenney of Steinbeck Equine Hospital and Dr. Tom Yarbrough, world renowned equine surgeon. It was a fun, educational day that covered topics such as Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome, Regenerative Medicine, Tendon and Ligament Injuries and a Equine Acupuncture demo by Dr. Linda Lauper.

Premier Equine Featured On Good Day Sacramento January 2009- Premier Equine Center was excited to welcome Sacramneto channel 31 anchor Allen Sanchez to our facility. Two segments were featured on the Good Day Sacramento Morning Show, each segment featuring a different piece of equipment. The first segment was a feature on our ECB Cold Salt Hydotherapy Spa, the second being a feature on our four horse Eurociser.
